报告人简介
明平兵是中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院研究员。2000年在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院获得理学博士学位，留院工作至今，2008年提升为研究员，2014年获得国家杰出青年基金。2015年起担任科学与工程计算国家重点实验室副主任。 2019年入选第四批国家“万人计划”中青年科技创新领军人才计划。曾多次访问美国Princeton大学数学系, 德国Leipzig Max Planck数学研究所。明平兵从事计算数学及科学计算的研究，特别是固体多尺度建模、模拟及多尺度算法的研究，在JAMS, CPAM, ARMA, PRB, SINUM, Math. Compt. Numer. Math, MMS.等国际著名学术期刊上发表学术论文五十余篇。应邀在SCADE2009，The SIAM Mathematics Aspects of Materials Science 2016等会议上作大会报告。
报告内容简介
We shall discuss the design principles for the robust finite elements for the strain gradient elasticity models. The robust is understood in the sense that the rate of convergence is independent of the microscopic length scale. Several families of finite elements in 2d and 3d are proposed and analyzed. Last but not lest, we shall discuss the method for approximating the strain gradient model in the nearly incompressible limit. This is a joint work with Hongliang Li, Yulei Liao, Zhong-ci Shi and Huiyu Wang.
