Adrian Roitberg received his BS from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina in 1997, and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1989 to 1992, working with Prof. Ron Elber. Between 1992 and 1995 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University with Prof. Mark Ratner. He was then a staff member at NIST from 1996 to 2000, and joined the Chemistry Department at the University of Florida in 2001. He has been a Professor in Chemistry and Physics at UF since then. His research interests span classical molecular dynamics in proteins, advanced sampling methods, quantum chemistry, and more recently, machine learning algorithms for chemistry and Physics.
